10 Years in Another Land

Life contains a lot of choices. We can choose where to go and what to do sometimes. I made a choice to uproot myself from my homeland and come live and work in another country around the planet from where I came from. I can definitely say it has been a journey indeed, one that I don’t regret. I don’t regret doing what I needed to do for me. I don’t regret taking a huge risk and chance. I know that I have become a better version of myself than who I was before. I am in no competition with anyone else but myself. I have had support and people who have helped me along the way, and they are never ever forgotten. I think it is important to help others and put out into the universe a pattern of giving when you are receiving as well. Certainly, it has all been challenging. Being a sensitive soul, I know that I was forced to learn how to take better care of myself for better or worse. I am a unique person and I own that over, under and through. I don’t have anything else to add except to say thank you Lord, thank you Universe and thank you family and friends who supported me in this adventure in my life. With a peaceful mind, I feel nothing but gratitude for being able to learn and grow myself in a way I couldn’t do in my hometown. I also feel that I reconnected to a past life I had in going on this endeavor. I truly believe we are spiritual beings in human form, and we live life in different breathing forms. Here is to embracing future journeys.
