I pine for it all the time.

Its rhythm rocks my core,

Its melody transports me

Into another space & time.

Each tone and note I hear

Rejuvenates my weary soul,

Reawakens my creative spirit,

Reenergizes my entire body.

My phone’s music apps

Satiate my hankerings

For the sound of music

Sweet, soulful, wholesome

Music for my mind and heart.

I love my addiction to you,

I am forever yours, music.
