I communed with you last night.
I saw you while I was in the fields.
Your spirits were there in the forest
You said and spoke nothing, but
Your faces looked down upon me
With love and reverence for me.
I told you I hated all the violence,
The dysfunction that you passed
on throughout the generations.
You said and spoke nothing, but
you listened to me vent my anger
along with my hatred at you for the
bloodline cycle of chaos, bitterness
and sickness swirling in my DNA.
I asked you to please protect the
Descendants from you, my family
during this coronavirus disaster.
This is all I ask.
Before I left,
I told you,
I love you.

This one hits me hard. I tried to put my finger on why and failed. Still deeply resonating with me. Simple words but very powerful.

Thanks a lot. This came to me as a result of a meditation experience I had last week. This that I described in my poem is something I have been wanting to do for a long time.
