When a person is too charming at first. Laying it on too heavy and thick, that raises a red flag with me. I immediately believe they are hiding something or have an ulterior motive that is not good.
Also, I will say, though it may be controversial to say it but, I am not a person who thinks that one should just follow the “exterior” beauty or image of someone. There are too many instance when someone who appears to have everything together, outfit, makeup, designer clothing, etc. is a hot, stinkin’ mess inside their life in reality.
I prefer to watch and observe people. I need to sink into what my gut tells me about a person. Sometimes people have quirky personality traits and characters but they aren’t necessarily evil or bad. Sometimes, people can behave so smoothly and clear and clean that it feels fake.
Humanity is not easy to have to deal with and I suggest that everyone is cautious around who you choose to keep company with. Everyone isn’t always who they say they are and we have to protect ourselves. It is our personal responsibility to do so.
