I see you now.
I have been stripped.
I have no more
Preconceived notions,
Century old stereotypes,
Religious mores,
Chauvinistic attitudes.
There are no barriers
Blocking my view,
No invisible shields,
Nothing.
I don’t see your class status,
I don’t see your gender,
I don’t see your color,
I only see you.
A human.
A human being.
I am stripped,
I see you now,
For who you are,
A fellow human being.
