Maybe I deserve
The hollow scraps you give me….
The business tone you type to me in
Morsels of coldness in your terse responses
Maybe I deserve
Your abandoning of my emotions
The jabs you take at me through him
Fake concern you show with no depth
Maybe I deserve
Each blame of laziness and failure
You truthfully feel inside yourself
Regarding my outward appearance
Maybe I deserve
Your narcissistic incapability to love
Your flesh of your flesh, bone of your bone
And manipulative evil shrouded as love.
