It is winter out.

I am on lockdown.

This coronavirus

Traps me into

a quarantine.

Must wear a mask.

Don’t touch anyone.

It is contagious.

I am all alone.

No nearby friends.

My love is travelling.

I feel isolated.

All alone and down.

Then I see you,

You beam your gleam

onto Earth, surging me

into a higher realm.

You are glorious.

You are magnificent.

Sunlight, I love you.

Your light pulses in me,

motivating me to do

all my tasks dutifully.

You are my happy pill,

You raise my spirit,

More than you know.

My ray of sunshine

thank you for shining

during this epidemic.
