Tell us about a time when you felt out of place.

If anyone who reads this has ever been homeschooled, then you know that it will make you different from others. I was homeschooled from Kindergarten through 12th grade except for 3rd grade. I attended an elementary school for the year.

I have often felt out of place in my life around others. I think differently, see the world differently, view the world differently and I have a tendency to see through others. I am always the odd one out and as I have grown older, I have learned to appreciate this more and more.

I can see throughout time that people are often led by others in the forms of vices, advertisements, etc. Drawn to following trends and social media, people get caught up in the hype.

I am different and I accept it and embrace it.
